Preserving items that will further the understanding and appreciation of Tasha Tudor’s extraordinary life. Collection highlights include letters written by Tasha in her teen years, before she was a published author; letters from the 40s and 50s when Tasha was raising her family; an antique push sleigh Tasha’s children enjoyed and more.
Tasha Tudor Day
Soon after Tasha passed away in 2008 at the age of 92, Tudor fans launched an annual holiday on August 28th, Tasha’s birthday. Clarice Fox-Hughes says “Really I would love it if the whole world would stop and remember her. This could simply be sitting in your garden with a cup of tea, reading her books, doing a sketch or just stopping to smell the roses.
Journal of the Tasha Tudor Society
Our award-winning, semi-annual printed Journal features historical research, illustrations, photographs, permanent collection items, memories, chapter information and more. Become a member to receive two issues per member year. Also includes Tasha’s favorite quotations, letters from her followers and an illustration identification contest.
