It has been a busy spring and summer for the Tasha Tudor Society chapters. The Pennsylvania chapter has hosted four events since May including a visit to the Fashion Archives & Museum at Shippensburg University, a lovely midsummer garden party at a member’s 1835 farm, a picnic luncheon preceding a tour of the Appalachian Trail Museum at Pine Grove Furnace State Park and a grand celebration of Tasha’s birthday.

The New Jersey chapter began their year by attending a Revolutionary Tea: a costumed, living history presentation of tea lore, history, songs and poetry at the Burlington County Historical Society. In April they held a lunch to welcome a new member and old friend of Tasha’s. And in July they attended a show of quilts and dollhouses at the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, PA.
The Pacific Northwest chapter, our newest, hosted a gorgeous garden tea party in Puyallup, Washington last month in celebration of Tasha’s birthday and followed it up with a visit to the Portland Doll Show.

This month we are looking forward to two more exciting events: the New York chapter’s big, annual Gathering, “ROSES ARE RED” held at Macedon Public Library, and a visit to the new conservatory at Hershey Gardens hosted by the Pennsylvania chapter.
Our chapter leaders are doing a marvelous job of sharing Tasha’s work and making personal connections through the celebration of her way of life. If you are interested in joining a chapter, visit the Affiliate Chapters section of our website to find a chapter near you.
